"Rocky" by Anne Spoon

I borrowed this antique rocking horse from a friend who collects all kinds of wonderful treasures. I have to admit it was a challenge thinking about pulling this off. Lots of planning before I started helped me to be free to just paint.
Such a lovely painting. I love the softness of all your still lifes. And I especially like the special object that you painted here. I'm gradually realizing that still life holds many pleasures for the artist. I rarely do them but love them when I do!
